Testing

Test conditionsTested in-house at ambient temperature using the Probit test system ProbitLab2 (hardware ID 361, firmware 4.14) with ProbitBench 4.7.1.0 and DiiA V2 test sequences version 2.7.0.0, DALI edition 2. The DUT is bus-powered from the test system and contains no auxiliary power supply; DUT power switching was automatic via the test system. All tests were carried out in operating mode 0x00 with the product at its factory-default settings. Maximum bus current consumption measured 10.000 mA, matching the 10 mA declared on the label and in the literature. Full test set for IEC 62386 parts 101, 103, 303 and 304: 151 tests, 0 failures, 0 errors, 0 warnings.

Product reference product description

IFS05D2 series: bus-powered DALI-2 multi-sensor input devices with no auxiliary supply. Each product provides one logical control device unit with an occupancy/movement sensor instance (instance type 3, IEC 62386-303) and a light sensor instance (instance type 4, IEC 62386-304). The products contain no application controller and do not implement IEC 62386-351; they are intended for use with a DALI-2 multi-master application controller on the same bus. All sensor parameters are configured via the DALI interface. Family members differ only in housing colour (white / black). All family members share the same DALI circuit, hardware version and firmware version.

Description

Bus-powered DALI-2 multi-sensor input device, white housing. One logical control device unit with two input instances: instance type 3 - occupancy/movement sensor (IEC 62386-303) and instance type 4 - light sensor (IEC 62386-304). The product has no integrated application controller and must be used together with a DALI-2 multi-master application controller on the same bus. No auxiliary power supply. All sensor parameters are configured via the DALI interface. Certification applies only for DALI communication using the DALI terminals, marked 'DA'. This product is the family reference product of the IFS05D2 series.
